It is an old Palace dating 1800, built by Uttiveggio and for many year was the residence of one of the most important, noble and well-known families of Palermo: the Florio Family. It was after this family , that the city gave its name to the facing square Ignazio Florio piazza.
The Florio hotel has a privileged location: close to the main touristic spots, such as Quattro Canti, Cathedral and the most important Opera houses( including Teatro Massimo and Politeama); and also for being in the heart of the city, in an area with the most luxurious shops.
